Instructor: Miroslav Losonsky. This course meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 – 9:50 a.m. in Caldwell 103.

This course is an introduction to philosophy with an emphasis on issues central to understanding a small portion of reality, viz., ourselves (human beings). Questions addressed include: Do we have access to a mind-independent reality? Do we have free will? Are there objective moral truths? Can we be held morally responsible for our actions?
